Perfect Fit & Alteration Policy

Overview

Renz Tailors Limited brings the full made-to-measure experience online, offering a premium and convenient tailoring service. Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. If you’re not satisfied with your garment due to issues such as fit, quality, or fabric, please contact us at info@renztailors.com within 30 days of receiving your order. We assess each case individually and will always do our best to find a resolution.


Perfect Fit Promise

While we aim to deliver a perfect fit every time, minor alterations may occasionally be necessary—often due to self-measurement inaccuracies. Every purchase from Renz Tailors Limited is protected by our Perfect Fit Promise, which includes alteration credits for each garment type. Full details below.


Remakes

If local alterations cannot resolve a fit issue, we may offer a free remake under the following conditions:

  • The fit issue is not due to incorrect measurements submitted by the customer. (If you used our Digital Tailor and followed all instructions, this condition is met.)

  • The issue cannot be resolved with alterations.

  • You submit clear photographs showing the problem.

  • The request is made within 30 days of receiving the order.

Final approval for a free remake rests with the Renz Tailors team.


Returns Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with your order. If you are not happy with a purchase made at www.renztailors.com, you may return it for an exchange or refund, under the following guidelines:

  • Goodwill Return Period: 28 days from the date of delivery.

  • UK & EU Customers: 14 calendar days to cancel, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Returned items must be:

  • Unused, unaltered, and in their original condition.

  • Accompanied by all original packaging and accessories.

Returns may be refused or subject to a partial refund if items are not returned in resaleable condition.

Exclusions – Items not eligible for return unless faulty:

  • Made-to-order, made-to-measure, personalised, or customised products.

  • Items with hygiene seals removed (where applicable).


Alteration Credits

Alteration credits are available for up to 30 days after receiving your order. These are valid only for alterations to the specific purchased garment (not for dry cleaning, pressing, or hemming pants if the “unhemmed” option was selected at checkout).

Coverage:

  • Alteration credit applies only to your first garment of each type.

  • Future garments are only covered if adjustments were made to your Fit Profile based on previous alterations.

Free Products: If you received a free item (£0 value), you may claim store credit only up to the cash back limit.


How to Claim Your Alteration Credit

Email info@renztailors.com with the following:

  • Your order number

  • Garment type altered

  • Details of the alteration

  • An itemised receipt from your tailor

Once reviewed and approved, you will receive either:

  • A refund to your original payment method (up to the cash limit), or

  • A Renz Tailors gift card (up to double the cash amount)

If you don’t provide an itemised receipt, you will only receive store credit equal to the cash amount. We do not reimburse dry cleaning or pressing services.


Subsequent Orders & Fit Adjustments

If you alter your first garment (e.g. shortening trousers by 1”), you must inform us of the specific adjustments so we can update your Fit Profile. Failure to do so means future garments will be made to the original measurements and not eligible for a second alteration credit.


Remake Eligibility (Unresolved Fit Issues)

We will remake your garment at no cost if:

  • The garment was not made within our 0.5” measurement tolerance, or

  • The garment does not match your selected customisation options

We may require photos showing:

  • You wearing the garment (to highlight fit issues)

  • A measuring tape confirming the measurements

These photos must be submitted within 14 days of our request. Claims will be closed if not received on time.


Measurement Tolerance

All garments are made within a 0.5” margin of error, based on your submitted body measurements (via Digital Tailor or manual input). Please note: garment measurements differ from body measurements (e.g. a 33" waist body measurement does not result in 33" trousers).

Renz Tailors will assess disputes in good faith using submitted evidence.


User Responsibility & Liability

Our Self-Measure tutorials and Digital Tailor scanner have been rigorously tested for accuracy. For best results, you must follow all instructions, including:

  • Wearing tight-fitting clothing

  • Using a well-lit room and neutral background

  • Correct posture and positioning

  • Tying long hair back

Failure to follow these guidelines may lead to incorrect measurements. In such cases, Renz Tailors Limited is not responsible for fit issues, and liability rests with the customer.


Ineligibility for Free Remakes or Alteration Credits

  • If fit issues are caused by incorrect self-measurements

  • If required information (e.g. additional photos or measurements) is not provided

  • If your garment is made for a non-disclosed body type outside our standard men's sizing

  • If we attempt to contact you and do not receive a response within 7 days


Other Situations

  • Incorrect Measurements or Customisations: If the garment matches your submitted data, any remake will be at your expense.

  • Digital Tailor Guarantee: If the Digital Tailor was used properly and the result is unfixable via alterations, we will offer a free remake.

  • Delayed Shipment: Refunds are available only if delivery exceeds 6 weeks from the date your order (and measurements) were fully completed.

  • Fabric Style/Color: Slight variations due to lighting or screen settings are not eligible for refunds unless the wrong fabric was used.

  • Manufacturing/Shipping Defects: Must be reported within 30 days of receipt. Issues reported later will not be covered.

Please inspect garments upon arrival. Damage from wear and tear or improper care is not covered.


Final Note

All remakes, reimbursements, and refunds are issued at the sole discretion of Renz Tailors Limited.
